Basketball Animations - Motion and Shuffle Offense from Blue Eagle Basketball ClubBy James Gels, from the Coach’s Clipboard Basketball Playbook, @ http://www.coachesclipboard.net
These excellent animations were originally part of the Blue Eagle Basketball Club's web-site. That site is no longer running, and when another coach sent me these animations, I thought they were just too good not to have available.
These two animations with created by Coach Ernie Wallengren, who eventually succumbed to Lou Gehrig's disease, some years ago.

Bill Self: The High/Low Motion Offense
with Bill Self, University of Kansas Head Coach; 2008 NCAA Champions; former Head Coach University of Illinois.

Because the offense is designed to pull one of your post players to the high post, it allows you to isolate your best big man at the low post with lots of room to score. The High/Low also places your perimeter players in position to score off the catch or dribble with the look of a true motion offense. Self uses on court demonstration to teach each player's responsibilities within the offense... (more info)

Smith begins with basic position, cuts and spacing on the floor to enter the offense and the box set, which allows for easy entry into the shuffle. He shows three distinct options - the back screen with shuffle cut, the back door and the button hook move - to begin the flow of the offense... (more info)
